Tennessee Chill Box’s Heat-Beating Air Conditioned Respirator System is Published in U.S. Patent Application

The Chill Box delivers up to 100 cubic feet per minute (cfm) of air. Standards established by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) require airflows of only 4 cfm for respirator masks and 6 cfm for respirator hoods.

“I actually hired an OSHA instructor and inspector to work on site,” said Asbra. “He makes sure that everything we’re doing that left this shop is certified, regulated and meets all the standards for OSHA and NIOSH.”
