CertainTeed Expands Webisode Series to Include Industry-first AirRenew Drywall and CertaSpray SPF
VALLEY FORGE, PA – December 12, 2013 – CertainTeed has expanded its webisode series to include segments that highlight industry-first AirRenew® Gypsum Board and CertaSpray® Foam Insulation. Viewers are taken through the process of selecting the right insulation and ensuring proper indoor air quality for a home.
The videos feature the Pohl family of Pewamo, Michigan — the grand prize winner of the 2012 CertainTeed $75,000 Exterior Living Spaces™ contest— as they continue the journey of renovating their home.
The innovative AirRenew IAQ product family features the industry's only drywall technology that actively helps to improve indoor air quality by capturing VOCs, specifically formaldehyde and other aldehydes, and converting them into safe, inert compounds. AirRenew, comprised of up to 96 percent total recycled content, is also specially engineered to provide enhanced protection against moisture with M2Tech® technology, which consists of 100 percent recycled paper that is treated to protect against mold growth.
Designed to solve tough installation requirements, CertaSpray Foam Insulation is a polyurethane foam that is sprayed into a building cavity and quickly expands to fill openings that may potentially leak air. The foam insulation provides exceptional thermal performance and an effective moisture and air barrier, which reduces energy loss and helps prevent mold.
