Coastal Uses Spray Foam to Cut Costs, Improve Building Integrity

EAST WINDSOR, NJ - June 16, 2011 - Over the past few years, spray foam has become increasingly popular in home remodeling and new construction projects alike. New Jersey-based Coastal was started in 1975, and helps homeowners and companies alike to get insulation projects done on time and on budget.
With customers ranging from homeowners to large businesses, Coastal is adept at working on insulating projects of every size. Spray foam improves the energy efficiency of buildings and often results in a reduction in monthly utility bills, industry watchers assert. According to Coastal's Anzhelika Ronis, it takes the company about two days to insulate a house using spray foam.
Coastal also routinely works on larger projects on bigger buildings. Ronis affirms that spray foam can present a myriad of benefits, including increased stability, the ability to create closed off spaces and increased r-values.
Illustrating the many applications for spray, Coastal recently outfitted a 7,000-square-foot ceiling of an equestrian center's barn with the insulating product. That structure had a metal roof with no insulation, causing a buildup of moisture to form on the inside of roof to drip down. With spray foam, though, Coastal was able to eradicate condensation issues in the barn, leaving a dry and safe place for animals and workers at the equestrian center.
A growing number of businesses and homeowners have moved to incorporate spray foam in remodeling projects because of success stories like this, Ronis asserts.
