Latest Spray Foam Data Shows Growth in Sales
WASHINGTON, DC–August 9, 2012–The North American spray foam industry continues to grow according to data released yesterday by the Spray Foam Coalition (SFC) of the Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI).
"As an important building and construction product that promotes energy efficiency and can save on energy costs, it is understandable why spray foam usage continues to grow," said CPI Senior Director Lee Salamone. "This most recent data shows growth in the overall spray foam sector with sales up 29% from the first half of 2010 to the first half of 2012."
Data from the second quarter of 2012 is now available for purchase on CPI's website. In addition, historical data covering the first quarter of 2008 through the first quarter of 2012 can also be purchased. This data includes the total amount of spray foam sold quarterly, broken down by open-cell, closed-cell and roofing spray foam as well as the sales information for nine U.S. regions, Canada and other exports. The new quarterly data are available through an annual subscription too. Click here for more information about the spray foam data.
