New Beginnings for Demilec, Inc.
ARLINGTON, TX – April 23, 2014 – Zain Mahmood, CEO, explained the symbol and how it was selected. "First, the bonded hexagons represent the basis for polyurethane – that is what we offer to the markets we serve. Second, the color green is our aspirational objective of being the greenest company in our space. Third, the tightness of the bond provides the basis of our strength and strength of materials we provide, and fourth, the bonded hexagons also represent the close connection between our team, our owners and the customers we serve."
For decades Demilec has used a Bee in their logo, which represents their hard workers. The Bee will remain the company mascot but has been retired as part of their logo.
Zain also explained how the new logo was developed and adopted. "We started with 81 choices of font, style and symbol, and through committee consensus narrowed the choice to four. We then put it out to a company-wide vote and the version you see was the overwhelming favorite."
Demilec started using the new logo this week and will gradually change all of their branded materials.
