Systems House Foametix Hits Nothing But Net During Atlanta Hawks Game
ATLANTA, GA – January 13, 2015 – Spray foam systems house Foametix recently made its presence known at Atlanta’s Philips Arena, as they were one of the main sponsors for the Atlanta Hawks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers on December 30th, 2014. A jumbotron feature, banners on the mezzanine level, and game shirts featuring Foametix’ logo were some of the ways the SPF manufacturer was showcased during all four quarters.
Foametix’ sponsorship for this event stemmed from the SPF company’s efforts to contribute materials and labor for a spray polyurethane foam roof charity project for the Atlanta Mission, the largest homeless shelter in Atlanta. Foametix’ altruistic donation was powered by the Atlanta Hawks organization, a great supporter of Atlanta Mission’s cause. The 16, 000 sq. ft. SPF roof project is currently ongoing, and it will bolster a building within the homeless shelter that solely houses women. As a way of saying thanks, the Hawks facilitated Foametix’ sponsorship for an upcoming home game– and Foametix chose the Cavaliers game in hopes of seeing LeBron James in action.
“Our partnership with the Atlanta Hawks enabled us to donate the materials for the project at the woman shelter of the Atlanta Mission,” said Foametix’ Ryan Hester. “We were then offered a great opportunity to showcase our brand during the game, as well as the opportunity to entertain some of our major spray foam distributors in a box suite at the game.”
Prior to the game, local radios and Fox Sports channel constantly announced Foametix’ sponsorship, providing additional media exposure for the SPF company.
“The exposure leading up to the game and during the game certainly created a buzz,” said Hester. “We had t-shirts with our logo in every seat in the house, banners on the big screen and around the arena. I would call the event a success for Foametix.”
Hester noted that after the game, Foametix witnessed an increase in their site submissions and a spike in their sales calls over the subsequent days following the game, which was a direct reflection of the sponsorship.
“Being game sponsors had a definite impact on our business, and it feels good to be able to achieve that while supporting a good cause and doing our part to give back to our community.” said Hester.
As far as the game went, the crowd’s wish to see LeBron James was squandered as he developed an injury on the same day. Notwithstanding, they received an uplifting performance by their Atlanta Hawks, as they went on to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers with a score of 109-101.
