building a shop
building a 30'X30' shop.got electricity,water,gas & sewer. 10.5' tall doors. flat roof of course. (1.5" of 2.7 lb with silicone or polyurea. looking for suggestions in the walls and roof deck. 2x4 walls. with 3.25" of foam in the walls, how far can I space the studs? 22-24" ? best trusses & spacing? roof deck material? anybody with a "foam shop only" with blue prints? (I mean a building that will have foam on six sides.) Floor: geo-textile fabric with 3-4" of 21AA gravel tamped down. (moderate limestone dust) spray 1.5" of 2.7 lb and pour 4.5" of 6 bag mix over the top. radiant heat maybe? This will be a shop for two trailer rigs/bathroom/small office. looking to attract little attention from the outside world.Will be very energy efficient. maybe even geo-thermal, but a hot water tank and a pump can work very well and very cheap compared to geo-thermal. Please send suggestions for a foamer to build an economical, energy efficient shop! |
