Cathedral ceiling
I just purchaces a E-10 and it works great for what I need. I apprciate everyones help with me deciding what machine to purchase.I search for this question and can't find it. I have a customer that wants the attic sprayed. Part of the house has a catherdral ceiling that doesn't reach the ridge, so there is a small attic space above the cathedral. I can't spray the catherdral part because its all sheetrocked and fiberglassed with shutes for ventalation. My thought was to continue the shutes to the ridge so the part with the fiberglass can still vent then spray the attic and over the new shutes. to seal the whole attic area. will this work? Did I make any sence? Thanks |

If you cannot seal the attic, spray the floor of the attic and leave the attic and cathedral ceiling vented. Be sure to place an ingnition barrier over the foam. In some cases, you can have a vented and unventilated portion of the attic and cathedral ceiling. This can be done if you can completely separate the vented and unvented spaces. |
