Cut off handling
Anyone using any type of shredder for disposing of cut off pieces. What are others doing to help make clean up easier. We are using the long blades and sanders for our trimming. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Use rigid, and you don't have to expend any labor shaving. That's what we do. regards, olger |

Thanks Olger but were using Demilic .5pd foam and were looking for a easier way to quickly clean up and dispose of the waste. We are currently packing as much into bags as we can get. Is anyone doing anything differently? |

Check the 1172 to see if they allow the shavings to be bagged and stored in the closed roof assembly without a thermal barrier around the bag. Our current customer asked that we "Stuff" the shavings into some closed knee-wall areas for additional insulation and sound deadening. He even said he wouldn't mind it in the attic. I like the idea of a shredder so that the material may possibly be blown into places that could use it. Or take Olger's advice and spray rigid. |
