Flat Tip for OC
Has anyone had good luck with flat tips for the Graco AP gun when spraying open cell SPF?

If you get the stud wall tip they work ok, but when you need to clean them, you can't just run a drill bit down the chamber and be done. You need to trim around the little eye shaped hole with a utility knife. The only way to spray flat is the same way you get to Carnegie Hall. Practice, practice, practice... George |

OR TP 100 kit, works well with closed cell not sure on the open, most like the AW4646 for open - no flat chamber or new aircap required. 24C358 |

I just had to chime in about this...get the helper to keep a tube of grease in his pocket...and each time you pop off the little build up on the tip, smear some grease back on it...been doing it like that for a long time on OC walls, or you could just use some spray release on the tip, I've never had to "drill" them constantly or use a "blade"(!!!)...just keep the grease on the front. -jepperoo |
