foggy vison
does anyone experience foggy vision after spraying, using repirator and a well ventilated work area.

not anymore. I did in 1987, and I learned to protect my eyes from the raw fumes. A 3M L-501 papr solves the problem, as well as a Martech air panel would. Good question. We must take our vision seriously. |

the cornea is covered with an aqueous like layer that is mostly water...it absorbs the blowing agent vapor and it coats it,,,kinda like smoke on the windshield...this is a temporary condition which will resolve with time dependant on the amount of exposure... olger is correct that everyone should protect themselves from the spray environment...we are spraying stuff here peeps!!you dont hang out in a paint booth do ya???(by the way,,tell the other trades to skeedattle)and dont forget the vapors linger...and that we are "tightening the house" as we go makeing ventilation time longer.... |
