Metal building warping
We insulated new metal shed with 1lb foam approx 3.5" deep.
From outside you can now see where the 2x6 runners are and the steel appears to draw in to the building at night when air cools off. This seems to leave a gap between the steel and the corner trim.
Any thoughts.

Is the building being heated or cooled?

There is no heat/cooling at this time.

Is it a post frame building or stud walls? I'm guessing it is a post frame building with the framing members spaced out to the max. I also wonder if it has the thinner steel. Sometimes people use the steel that is meant for the interior, on the exterior.

It is a studded wall on concrete foundation

? is the framing parallel to the ribs in the metal?
If so then there isn't enough suport for the steel siding, the suport framing for most steel barn siding runs perpendicular to the ribs.

If there isn't proper suport structure or adequate faseners then the cause of the warping is the diferent expantion rates of the two dissimiler materals.

Thanks
