older home w/blown in insulation
My home is around 60 years old and I believe that at some time it has had insulation blown into the walls. Is it recommended to have foam insulation poured into the walls also or will the blown in mess it up?

If the walls already have insulation in them, you must take the existing insulation out to re-insulate it.

what is the easiest way to do that?

The only way I know to do it is to take the drywall (or sheathing or plaster) off the studs remove the old insulation and spray between the studs. You could also take the exterior sheathing off, spray the foam then place it back, which ever is the most cost effective and efficient.
