Open cell over closed cell ?
Im about to spray my first job. My own home. Its about 4000 sqft home and will require alot of foam. I was thinking about spraying a 1 inch layer of closed cell in the walls and on the drywall in the attic and then going back over all of it with open cell to finish filling the space. Can you do this with the two different types? Or is it even worth the trouble? About 3 sets is all I can afford to put into it.What would you do?

How many square feet of surface space do you have to spray ie square feet of walls and square feet of attic floor? Tim Granite State Spray Foam Co. |

Ill have to measure to be sure but I can guess pretty close. Maybe 9000 sqft. That includes the crawl, ceiling, walls, attic, and bonus room. |
