Looking for a hydraulic shaft for the MH machine. Rob Crawford tells me there have been only two shaft failures in the history of the machine and ours is one of them.Big rush !!!!! `oG |

How about a good machinist? Just a thought. |

I did think about that - but we don't have time for the machining, hard chrome, centerless grinding etc.. |

Olger, we were the other shaft failure in the history of the machine! We had our part machined, took several days but worked fine after the repair. Good luck. |

Caddis - thanks for the info. Is your machine a full MH (3000psi @ 45 lb. per minute?) Where did your shaft break - at the lower threads? I am told a week to machine a new one. g |

Problem solved. Rob Crawford from MCC Equipment in Indianapolis had the complete hydraulic cylinder and shaft assembly. $2100 but it will be worth it. Also had a local machine shop in Dayton make a replacement shaft out of billet - take them about a week to get it completed and hardchromed and ground. At least we'll have an extra one, now. Thanks for the suggestions, g |
