Spray foam direct to standing-seam metal roofing?
I have heard that closed-cell foam is strong enough that it can prevent continuous-length metal roofing (33 foot panels) from expanding and contracting correctly so I'm being recommended to install an underlayment or water barrier (Tyvek or similar) under the sheeting. Would open-cell be less of a problem? Will either correctly adhere to plastic?Thanks! |
