You need to ask owner what the service temperature of the tanks will be. From what I understand, maximum temp is around 185 degrees with new foam formulations. At one time, service temps were higher. If you go ahead and spray these tanks, you need to install temperature monitors like the ones that come in turkeys. They can be set to register 185 degrees - if tanks get hotter, they pop out of foam and let you know that tank went above service temperatures recommended for foam and you are covered should the foam fail. Proceed with caution. |

figured someone would get a kick out of turkey reference. check with foam supplier - heat sensing guages are available which will register when service temp of tank reaches or exceeds certain levels. |
