Trailer setup
I am looking at setting up a trailer for spf. What I am wondering is there a site out there that describes such process. I have done a lot of reading and such but do still have a few questions. What hose can I use from the drum pumps to the Proportioner. I know I need a oxygen barrier hose. I did see a setup that used PEX hose ,is this OK to use.

Get ahold of George. A few months back we "remodeled" our rig. He can set you up with what you need. Even give you some good advice. SFDONE 603-348-8880 |

hillbilly,,, blackpipe on the walls,,, 10' hose "whip" from pipe to xfer pump (maybe with shutoff valve on terminal end?).. hose "whip" from pipe to proportioner to allow for vibration inherent to mechanical systems,,, goodyear 400psi hose otta do it,,,hillbilly,,, dont know about pex,,, can you get it in 3/4 or 1"?? remember the basic principles of fluid flow,,, you cant deliver thru a small straw (1/2"pex)and expect a big gulp... thing is pex has them funky compression fittings that take the funky tool that only cletus the azzbearin plumber owns,,so,,,why not keep it simple and use threaded schtuff that you can take apart,,put back together,,and replace as needed with easy to find stuff when you are out there with quentin in BFE,,, look at your setup as,,, what can i do to make this the easiest setup for MY WORKERS TO MAINTAIN WHILE OUT IN THE FIELD cause eventualy you wont be in the field,, and always crap poops when in the field you only make $$ when the rig is sprayin.. |
