Mike Glace Posted: Nov 04, 2007 09:34 PM	Unfinished Basement Ceilings I am getting ready to spray a house had a question the basement is not getting finished right away when we are done can we spray ceilng and leave it or does it need drywall no matter what to pass code. Also is it possible to spray Andek fire guard a ignition barrier for the time being to pass code.

If they are not finishing it right away, let them get their occupancy and come back later and spray the ceiling at the customer's leisure. Leave the code out of it. We did the same thing in our own home and I make this recommendation with no reservation.
