Winterizing
I'm going to be putting my rig up for the winter and what to be sure to flush in correctly. I've heard to use either DOP or MEK flush followed by hydraulic fluid on both sides. Is that correct? Where do I get DOP or MEK? Any other steps I should be taking?

Just curious... putting your rig up for the winter? You're not busy? This is our busiest time of the year. Not being a richard here, just curious is all. |

Well we don't have any more foam jobs lined up as of now. I would love to keep our rig going through the winter, but have only been spraying since september and it has not gone that well as of yet. I just don't want to fight it in the cold this year when we are still new to it. We also do siding, windows, energy audits, and regular blow-in insulation and have plenty of work with those to keep my current guys busy through the winter. I guess the short answer would be that I don't want to lose any more money on foam this year. |

Sorry to here it has not worked out for you. Check out some of NHsprayfoam's old posts. Or maybe George can repost it for you. He has a way of doing it. Or, I know Mason has posted a way of doing it as well. Good luck. |
