GenAer’s PG2040RS
The Industry’s First Gas-Powered Combo Unit at SPFA 2025
GenAer’s mobile generators, air compressors, and combo units have been the backbone of successful spray foam and coating businesses for 20 years. GenAer continues to innovate with its new PG2040RS, the industry’s first industrial strength, enclosed gasoline powered combination air compressor and generator. This combo unit produces at least 20 KW of power and 40 CFM of compressed air, providing comparable power and durability to a diesel-powered unit in a compact, cost-effective package. It is expected to be available for purchase in Q2 of 2025.
The PG2040RS is an affordable option for spray foam operators looking for a quiet, compact, and extremely fuel-efficient combination unit. If space is at a premium, the modular design of the PG2040RS easily fits within cargo vans or smaller rigs. See the prototype for yourself at the SPFA Convention & Expo.
Quiet, Enclosed Design
With an enclosed design, the PG20240RS is a quieter option compared to similar units. Operators will no longer face the added expense of building a wall or separate compartment within their rig to reduce noise.
Durable, Long-Lasting Engine
Powered by a liquid cooled, low speed engine running at approximately 2000 RPM, the PG2040RS offers a longer engine life - similar to a diesel generator.
Lightweight, Small Footprint
At 50”L x 35”W x 72”H and weighing less than 1,500 pounds, the PG20420RS easily installs in mobile rigs, smaller trailers or cargo vans, or can be mounted on a utility trailer.
Modular Design Option
For situations where space is limited, the PG2040RS features a removable fuel tank, significantly reducing its height from 72” to 56”.
Fuel Efficient
The PG2040RS is up to 50% more fuel efficient than comparable gas powered, portable generators.
