2011 International Builder's Show Kicks Off
ORLANDO, FLORIDA - January 11, 2011 -- The northern half of the East Coast might be bracing for another heavy load of snow - and New York will be trying to avoid December's debacle - but in sunny Orlando, Florida, builders will be displaying their best technologies and solutions for keeping homes warm and stable in the bitter winter months.
With an attendance of over 60,000 and more than 1,200 companies projected to present, the International Builder's Show is the largest residential building industry tradeshow anywhere in the world. Because it draws so many important figures and industry experts, participants tend to bring their best presentations.
"Innovation, sustainability, building science and new technology all play a powerful role in the building industry and are deeply rooted in our mission at CertainTeed," Peter Dachowski, president and chief executive officer of CertainTeed stated, speaking about the company's presentation this week. "Our products offer industry-leading performance backed by technical support that ultimately contributes to healthy, long-lasting homes and buildings."
Among CertainTeed's products are spray foam insulation solutions - something which promises to turn up again and again at the gathering. Dow Building Solutions will also be presenting spray foam insulations.
Perhaps most intriguingly, the New American Home 2011 - a joint partnership between Builder Magazine, The National Association of Home Builders and The National Council of the Housing Industry - will be unveiled at IBS 2011, and will employ spray foam insulation.
