American WeatherStar to Hold 2013 Dealer Conference at Beau Rivage

MOBILE, AL – October 17, 2012 – American WeatherStar will be conducting its annual dealer conference, which will focus on best practices from sales force design to signing contracts. The seminar will cover how to increase sales through effective marketing and closing techniques. It will also cover expectation of sales force, prospecting, proposals, follow-up, and ultimately closing the sale.

The company has been hosting their conference annually for the past nine years, as long as they've been in business. Owner of American WeatherStar, Brian O'Donnell, said, "This year's a little different. We're doing more sales training all the way from prospecting through proposal through follow-up to close." O'Donnell added that trained professional consultants in these fields will participate in conducting the seminars.

As for what O'Donnell hopes to accomplish, he said, "I want them to enjoy themselves and to come away thinking it was worth their time, energy and money. A couple of contractors requested I get out of the technical product-based stuff one year and do something to help them put together presentations and to close sales," he added. "I ask them what we can do better because I want them to come back every year."

The event will be hosted at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi from January 16th through the 18th, 2013. Some of the resort's amenities include a pool, shopping, a spa, a theater, and a nightclub.

Check in is on Wednesday the 18th and guests are invited to play golf at the Gulf Coast's premier championship resort course. A welcome reception will be held that evening as well. On Thursday the 17th, The Sales Process From Prospecting To Closing seminar will be given, and guests are invited to attend a group dinner later that evening. On Friday the 18th, there will be a Best Practices On Proposals seminar.
