Bayer Announces General Manager for Spray Polyurethane Foam Materials Business
SPRING, TX – April 10, 2015 – Bayer MaterialScience LLC has appointed Bill Brengel as the general manager for the spray polyurethane foam (SPF) insulation and roofing materials business. In this role, Brengel will lead the sales, customer service, product and application development, and manufacturing groups with a focus on excellence and profitable growth. Under Bill's guidance, Bayer will remain an active participant in key industry initiatives and organizations to help promote SPF as the insulation of choice for residential and commercial construction projects.
Brengel has over 25 years of operations and business leadership experience in industries such as chemicals, plastics and building materials. He also has deep experience in business strategy and organizational growth, and has led various business improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence, quality and customer satisfaction. He has joined forces with a strong, experienced and dedicated team of professionals in one of the SPF industry's preeminent and recognizable organizations.

Brengel earned a mechanical engineering degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and a business degree from Coe College. He has served on a variety of boards and industry associations.
