Bayer MaterialScience LLC Introduces Spray Foam Applicator Fundamentals Web-Based Program
SPRING, TEXAS, February 15, 2011 —Spray polyurethane foam (SPF) contractors and applicators now have a free, interactive, online source of information to learn about SPF applications, equipment, and safety. Bayer MaterialScience LLC developed the Applicator Fundamentals program to promote the use of SPF insulation and roofing in residential and commercial applications. The program has seven modules that include an overview on SPF, jobsite and rig preparation, equipment operation, wall application, roof application, and coatings.
The Applicator Fundamentals program illustrates proper application and installation of SPF. Bayer MaterialScience LLC provides this informative program free at its website, www.spf.bayermaterialscience.com. With proper installation, spray polyurethane foam can offer superior energy efficiency and cost savings.
The Applicator Fundamentals program combined with the Center for the Polyurethane Industries (CPI) SPF Chemical Health and Safety Online Training program provides a comprehensive guide to spray polyurethane foam products and uses.
