Burtin Racing Teams up With Foametix During Trans-Am Championship Season Opener

SEBRING, FL - March 4, 2015 - The Foametix® 100 Trans-Am season opener took place last Sunday, March 1, at Sebring International Raceway, kicking off of the 2015 Championship schedule. Seasoned racer Claudio Burtin piloted the FOAMETIX® Corvette C7.R for the 100-mile race as part of a record setting weekend of entries for the Trans-Am series, breaking a 48-year record.

“With over 70 cars entered, it was a challenging race on Sunday,” said Claudio Burtin. “We had to watch for traffic and yellow flags, as they played a huge role in the final result. Burtin Racing has partnered with Foametix onboard the No. 7 Corvette C7.R for the full 2015 Trans-Am Championship season. The schedule consists of 12 Rounds of action packed racing at North America’s most iconic road course circuits. The Foametix Trans-Am 100 at Sebring International Raceway will be broadcast on the CBS Sports Network on Tuesday, March 17 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
