Spray Foam Magazine – Show Issue 2025 – Spray Foam Magazine is honored to announce Beyond Foam Insulation Ltd. owners, Curt Janzen, and Kevin Boschee, as the Outstanding Growth and Excellence Award winners, 2024. Their entrepreneurship and business development has been noticed by industry professionals. These achievements include business growth, customer loyalty, embracing technological advancements, and innovation, to name a few.

Curt Janzen and his brother-in-law, Kevin Boschee, launched Beyond Foam Insulation Ltd after realizing there was a space in the market, and they could be the ones who could fill it. Curt and Kevin started the business working out of Curt’s garage and that’s how Beyond Foam made its start in Calgary, CA. Their first year, they vigorously worked to learn both the art and the science of installing foam. The company soon grew and over the last 18 years, they have gone from owner operators, to having a team of approximately 80 people, with four separate companies that all revolve around foam and spray applied products.

Before ever touching a spray gun, they purchased all of the equipment and installed it into a trailer, and that is how it all started. Now Curt is the CEO, and Kevin the COO of their company. As the company developed, they introduced Beyond Roofing, specializing in spray foam roofing, Beyond Lifting, a concrete lifting division, and Beyond Thermal where the crew install fireproofing, firestopping, intumescent coatings, and spray applied sound insulation. “Being able to do all this and maintain our amazing company culture is no small task but we love systems, setting goals, and celebrating when our team wins,” confirms Curt and Kevin.

Kevin is great with details, and his ability to look at numbers, build employee agreements, understand accounting, and make great financial decisions, makes him amazing at his job. Curt is great at inventing solutions to problems. He is a born entrepreneur who loves to put great people together to create and build an unstoppable team. This passion for their team and crew, their problem-solving skills, and ability to grow their business in a strategic and innovative way, has driven the success of their business. Whether it’s celebrating wins in their teams’ lives, or personal achievements, Beyond Foam’s ambition, fortitude and joy is infectious.
