Covestro To Exhibit Spray Foam Technologies at the 2017 International Builders’ Show
PITTSBURGH, PA – January 6, 2017 – Architects and designers of residential and commercial buildings increasingly are seeking building envelope technologies that offer improved durability, energy efficiency and occupant comfort. Covestro LLC offers a number of spray polyurethane foam (SPF) technologies for perimeter wall and roofing insulation that meet these rigorous performance criteria.
Covestro will highlight its broad portfolio of SPF insulation at the 2017 International Builders’ Show (IBS), January 10-12, in Orlando. Covestro experts will be available at booth #W6241 to discuss how the company’s SPF insulation products are used to create sustainable, high-performance homes and commercial buildings. Here’s a first look at what to expect at Covestro’s booth.
A number of Bayseal® products will be highlighted. Bayseal® wall and roofing insulation provides an extremely high R-value and the ability to reduce air intrusion, radiative heat transfer and air movement. The application technology allows the spray polyurethane foam to expand, filling cracks, crevices and voids.
Bayseal® CCX is a closed-cell (CC) foam and is recommended for commercial wall applications and non-vented attics, ceilings, floors, foundations, piping, and non-vented crawl spaces in residential applications. Open-cell (OC) polyurethane foams include Bayseal® OC and Bayseal® OCX. These products are ideal for residential walls, attics, ceilings and floors.

For commercial wall applications, EcoBay® insulation is an ideal thermal and moisture management system. When properly installed, EcoBay® CC spray foam insulation offers a low installation cost, design flexibility, and a durable thermal envelope.
Covestro will also showcase commercial roofing systems. Bayseal® SPF insulation roofing, when used in combination with Bayblock® fluid applied membrane, creates a complete roofing system that provides superior insulation. This lightweight roofing system also reduces potential of leaks, adds structural support to the building, offers exceptional wind resistance and decreases the amount of radiated heat allowed into the building.
IBS attendees are invited to stop by Covestro’s booth (#W6241) to learn more about the company’s SPF insulation products for the residential and commerical construction markets.
