Demilec Hires Derek Davis as Commercial Sales Director

ARLINGTON, TX – March 9, 2015 – Demilec, one of North America’s largest manufacturers of spray foam insulation and polyurea products, has named Derek Davis Commercial Sales Director. In this newly-created position, Davis will spearhead Demilec’s effort to increase its market share for commercial construction projects.

With his long-time experience in commercial building products, Derek was at the top of our list of candidates to lead the charge,” said Zain Mahmood, President and CEO at Demilec.

With more than 12 years’ experience in the construction products industry, Davis was most recently National Director of Sales & Marketing in the Building Solutions and Insulation Group for CertainTeed, a manufacturer and global supplier of polyurethane building products. He’s also held sales leadership positions with Mapei International and BASF Construction Chemicals.

Davis received a bachelor’s degree in criminology from the University of Southern Maine and a master’s in homeland security from Northeastern University.
