Demilec Names Brian Metrocavage To Newly-Created Director of Building Science Position
ARLINGTON, TX – February 11, 2015 – Demilec, one of North America’s largest manufacturers of spray foam insulation and polyurea products, has hired Brian Metrocavage as Director of Building Science, a new position at the company that will broaden Demilec’s building science capabilities and strengthen the relationships with industry specifiers.
“We’ve set out to build a world-class building science organization that works with architects, builders and other specifiers to develop the products that they want to see in the marketplace. With his extensive background in building materials and their applications, Brian is a natural fit to lead us there,” said Zain Mahmood, President and CEO at Demilec.
Metrocavage’s experience includes leading Honeywell’s Building Envelope Solutions department, as well as Owens Corning and Jeld-Wen. He earned a Bachelors of Science at Lock Haven University and is trained in USGBC’s LEED program, AutoCAD and Six Sigma.
