Foam Insulation Achieves GREENGUARD® Certification

December 30, 2008 - (Valley Forge, Pa.) – Joining the ranks of more than 20 CertainTeed Insulation products to be certified, CertainTeed Corporation is proud to announce that CertaSprayTM closed-cell foam insulation has achieved GREENGUARD® Indoor Air Quality and GREENGUARD Children & Schools certification.

Facilitated by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute, both certification programs require products to meet stringent standards in regard to chemical and particle emissions that can compromise healthy indoor air quality.

The foam results in a hard, rigid consistency that provides superior insulating power and adds structural integrity to walls.
