IAL Consultants Launches Global Polyurethanes Database

LONDON, UK–November 7, 2012–IAL has recently announced the launch of its new Global Polyurethanes Database. The web-based system allows users to access IAL's report library anywhere in the world so they can browse reports or enter the data analysis section. 

The GPD will be periodically refreshed with minor updates to data and also annually updated with market reports produced by IAL. The database delineates polyurethane production by application and country, raw material consumption by application and country, and market and technical trends. The GPD includes historic data dating back to 2000, as well as five-year forecasts.

Access to the database is achieved through an internet portal personalized for every client. The GPD incorporates data management tools to do everything from pulling out a simple market number for a particular region or polyurethane application, to more complex data aggregations and comparisons. Data filters and a "drag and drop" functionality enable users to create tailored market reports (by product, region and applications) and customized datasets exportable to Excel, Powerpoint and PDF formats.
