Illinois Spray Foam Contractor Joins Paint To Protect Network

IFTI – Paint To Protect’s DC 315 is certified to protect Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) insulation. DC 315 is a new state of the art Intumescent water based foam paint, which is certified for performance and application by Warnock Hersey, proudly displaying the WH symbol.
Paint To Protect’s DC 315 is listed and certified for use in attics and crawl spaces to the new ICC –ES AC 377 specifications as an Ignition Barrier. Effective June 1st, 2009 products not passing the new standards of AC -377 will be sunset later this year and code officials will only be able “sign off” on Ignition Barriers that comply to the new standards. Paint to Protect is aggressively reaching out to the SPF industry so that no one is caught by surprise or does work that will not meet code as the new ICC-ES AC 377 code requirements go into place January 1st, 2010.
