Mike Holmes Mentions the Use of Spray Foam Insulation at the International Builder’s Show
ORLANDO, FL – January 13, 2011 - The list of companies exhibiting and demonstrating the many benefits spray foam insulation at this year's IBS - International Home Builder's Show is numerous. Spray Foam has definitely become the insulation of choice for homeowners, architects and builders.

Mike Holmes visited the Panasonic booth where he talked about closed cell spray foam insulation, moisture infiltration, new building techniques, and his ongoing campaign to “Make it Right™.” Mike also told the audience that there is no better insulation material to “make it right” other than closed cell spray foam insulation. He even went as far to say that other insulations systems “just don’t work.”
Mike Holmes was there to sign autographs in his new US magazine called Holmes Magazine, which is on bookshelves and magazine stands now. Mike is also promoting his brand new show on HGTV called Holmes Inspection, which airs Sundays at 9pm/8 central.
SprayFoam.coms’ Doug Commette was on hand to listen to Mike’s energetic “Make it Right” presentation. Afterwards Doug and Mike met to shake hands, and jaw about the benefits of closed-cell insulation.
Steve Easley was also spotted at the show. Steve is an internationally recognized construction consultant specializing in solving building science related problems and educating building industry professionals and their trade partners. Steve has hosted hundreds of best practice building science videos that that can be seen at www.codecollegenetwork.com. These practical videos are viewed by thousands every year. He has also co-hosted hundreds of television and radio programs, including over 100 shows on the Discovery Channel's Your New House.
In the CertainTeed booth, we caught a glimpse of This Old House’s Tom Silva, who was also on hand to answer questions from the audience. CertainTeed also had an outdoor booth with a very nice looking and well outfitted insulation rig. The insulation trailer rig is part of CertainTeed’s new Equipment Division, set-up to provide their installers of spray foam and blown insulation materials, with a one stop for all their insulation needs.
Also outdoors was BASF Corp taking part in the Show Village showcase of homes. BASF was highlighting their closed-cell spray foam insulation in one of the residential homes put together for the show. BASF had a very nice spray booth set-up where interested builders and visitors could watch a live demonstration and see their closed cell Comfort Foam™ actually sprayed before their eyes.
