Optimism, Success Key Themes of 2014 ICAA Convention & Trade Show
ORLANDO, FL–July 16, 2014–The future is bright! These optimistic words have been chosen by the ICAA Convention Committee as the theme for the 2014 ICAA Convention & Trade Show. Insulation professionals can anticipate better times ahead; major indicators point to a robust demand for insulation, and installers are busy.
ICAA will celebrate this good news and provide the resources needed to capitalize on it at the 2014 Convention & Trade Show in Orlando from September 18-20.
ICAA will be returning to the popular and luxurious Disney Contemporary Resort this year. This ultra-modern resort hotel features award-winning dining, white sand beaches, spectacular views, and dazzling pools. The Contemporary delivers wonderful special events, including a spectacular fireworks display each evening and the regular silent arrival–through the famous A-frame Contemporary Tower–of the resort Monorail headed for the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Free Wi-Fi, complimentary airport transportation, and ready access to the outdoor pool and adjacent marina guarantee an ideal getaway.
The ICAA Convention and Trade Show is a pivotal business opportunity for suppliers and contractors from across the country and from Canada and Mexico. Exhibitors at the ICAA Trade Show represent all the leading insulation manufacturers and suppliers as well as those businesses that complement insulation contracting.
During this three~day professional bonanza, the most important issues in the insulation industry will be on the table. Safety, state-of-the-art technological advances, good business practices, and the ever-present pressures of regulations will be explored. The Platinum Sessions on Thursday, September 18, are a popular and well~attended program sponsored by three of ICAA’s member manufacturers: CertainTeed, Johns Manville, and Owens Corning. These sessions hit all the hot buttons of the insulation industry.
The Committee Meetings during the opening of the Convention will feature presentations on Obamacare, managing the lien process, building the perfect residential spray foam rig, air sealing, and much, much more. On Day #2 , the keynote will focus on positive attitudes and their impact on a successful business followed by insights on operating a commercial motor vehicle fleet. Day #3 will focus on preparing for a DOT compliance audit as well as steps to take in advance of an OSHA inspection.
ICAA President Todd Sawyer noted: “The future is bright. Demonstrate the positive power you possess by grabbing the opportunities offered at the ICAA Convention and Trade Show. It will be a time to expand your mind, discover solutions to problems, and garner new energy to succeed. And have fun too at the fabulous Contemporary Resort. See you in Orlando!”
