Paradigm Polymers Maintains Strong Focus on “Green' Foam Insulation Products
Paradigm Polymers, based in Macon, GA, is a full service spray foam company with a unique focus on “green” products. The research and development division of parent company American Green Group, Paradigm produces both spray foam machines, such as their Lil’ Pup portable sprayer, and the insulation itself. Their Ecosafe line of foam products includes injection foam, polyurethane spray foam and an innovative soy-based foam.
Gary Grey, the founder and former owner of Paradigm Polymers, was one of the pioneers of the soy industry. Al Ward, Operations Manager at Paradigm, explains that “in an effort to carve out a niche, Gary chose to use a renewable product to escape the burden of foreign oil and to help American farmers. Soy was the natural choice. Paradigm continued to make strides in the industry regarding green material development and equipment processing while running under the radar of the industry giants. Showing that good deeds don’t always go unnoticed, Paradigm was noticed and acquired by the American Green Group (AMGG), one of the nation’s leading companies in environmentally-friendly products,” states the company.
AMGG’s mission statement reflects this eco-friendly focus: “Our mission is to be an industry leader through high quality, energy conserving brands and technologies; corporate, environmental and social responsibility; best in class customer service; and a focus on the continual growth of our business partners.”
With the capacity to insulate new homes and businesses and do partial insulation of existing homes with the acquisition of Paradigm, AMGG began searching for a safe, reliable method to insulate the exterior walls. The acquisition of Ecosafe Insulation completed the circle. A recent effort to expand this division has been launched with sales in about half of the U.S.”
Once AMGG decided to expand their operations, the company began looking for an individual to organize and manage this effort. AMGG found the perfect fit in Al Ward, then president and founder of AWS award specialty services and the Southeastern Poly Training Center. Al agreed to leave AWS, which he founded in 2003, to take on the position of Operations Manager at Paradigm.
Al plans to help Paradigm/AMGG grow and evolve the company’s green vision through renewable, eco-friendly product offerings. For more information about Paradigm Polymers, visit www.foaminsulationproducts.com. The American Green Group can be found online at www.americangreengroup.com.
