SoyThane Technologies, Inc. Opens New Location in Hurricane, Utah
JACKSONVILLE, FL – January 31, 2013 – SoyThane Technologies, Inc. opened their new location in Hurricane, Utah on January 1st of this year in order to better facilitate customers in the western part of the country.
According to Owner Fred Akel, SoyThane's goal is to make the new 7,000 sq. ft. facility a duplicate of their Jacksonville, Florida location, which has been in operation since 2004. SoyThane will offer the same products and services at both locations.
"We will be making rigs and putting machines together," said Akel. "Pretty much everything we do in Jacksonville, but out there at the new facility."
SoyThane chose Hurricane, Utah because the location makes it fairly easy for the company to transport their trailers anywhere on the west coast. The facility is just about an hour and a half away from Las Vegas.
Since their new location opened, SoyThane has already seen an increase in customers on the west coast who may not have contacted them previously due to the high cost of shipping expenses.
"We're definitely getting a lot of calls we wouldn't normally get from places like California and Arizona," said Akel. "Our rigs were just too far away."
Akel anticipates that the Utah facility will increase its staff in the coming months to further accommodate its west coast customers.
