Spray Foam 2011 Swimsuit Calendar Announced

BRIELLE, NJ – December 17, 2010 - The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition, Makita and SprayFoam.com,  all know how to increase readership, PR and brand awareness and successfully target their predominantly male audiences. 

Time, Inc, owner of Sports Illustrated reports that the Swimsuit Issue makes up seven (7%) percent of the magazine’s overall annual revenue, and it’s not only for men to read. About (35%) percent of SI Swimsuit’s readers are women, many of whom use it as a shopping guide. Thanks to appearances in Sports Illustrated, designers and models alike have seen their company fortunes and careers rise.

In 2009, SprayFoam.com developed their “infamous” Spray Foam Swimsuit Calendar to hand out at their booth at some industry trade shows. SprayFoam.com’s Swimsuit Calendar was a huge hit, creating frenzies at the trade show booth and interesting talk throughout the event and the year. Interestingly enough, many of the female folks who publicly denounced the calendar, snuck over to the booth later to get one and bring it home to their husbands.

“We have had a few complaints from women in the supplier community that the calendar is ‘degrading’ to women. Other suppliers don’t want to be associated with it. It’s just good clean fun that we do for the hard working spray foam contractors who all seem to love it. We maintain the highest degree of respect for the women in the industry, especially for the women owned SPF contractor companies. Coincidentally, it’s these women that seem to take away the most calendars at the shows - because they know much their male workforce and construction industry customers they work with back home will enjoy it,” says Doug Commette, SprayFoam.com’s General Manager.

In 2010, SprayFoam.com elected not to print the calendar because of some of the negative comments received, but the backlash from the SPF Contractor community was unbearable.

So back by popular demand (no kidding – most of foam contractors really did demand it) is the 2011 SprayFoam.com Swimsuit Calendar. It’s even bigger this year at a full size 12x12 so SPF contractors won’t miss any important dates, and they can take in some lovely views in the process.

Spray Foam Material and Equipment Suppliers can even benefit because there are a LIMITED number sponsor opportunities to have their company logos displayed on EVERY month! The 2011 spray foam calendar is ready to go (there are just few sponsor opportunities still available for the bolder suppliers) and it will print in the upcoming weeks – Just in time for 2011. Every sponsor receives 200 additional calendars each to hand out as well, giving the Spray Foam Swimsuit Calendar tons of additional exposure and recognition. SprayFoam.com and the sponsor suppliers plan to hand out the thousands printed at all the major events, and make them available free online (just have to pay for postage).

There are not many marketing materials from any supplier companies that seem to survive all year long in a busy spray foam rig as well as SprayFoam.com’s Swimsuit Calendar does.
