Spray Foam and Coatings Supplier Receives Notice of Acceptance
MOBILE, AL - November 2009 - American WeatherStar (AWS) announces it has received NOA (Notice of Acceptance) from the Miami Dade Building Code Compliance Office. This NOA is for American WeatherStar Acrylic 211 roof coating. The AWS Acrylic 211 is now approved for South Florida’s high velocity hurricane zone for coating on the following substrates: spray polyurethane foam, modified bitumen, smooth built up, TPO, EPDM, PVC, and metal roofs.
According to Brian O’Donnell, President of American WeatherStar, “This NOA gives us the ability to service contractors and building owners in one of the strongest coatings markets in the country. We worked with the people at Miami Dade for almost one year to receive all the necessary approvals and they were very helpful throughout the process. We look forward to working in this market."
