United Subcontractors, Inc. Announces New V.P. of Sales and Marketing

ST. PAUL, MN – September 27, 2013 – United Subcontractors, Inc. (USI), a leader in the residential and commercial construction industry, announced today the appointment of Jim Tipperreiter to the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He will report to President and CEO, Bill Varner.

Mr. Tipperreiter has over 20 years of experience in the construction space. He began his career as a Sales Engineer with CONAM Inspection and Dupont Automotive Finishes and most recently was Vice President of Sales for Aquiliex Welding Services. Jim brings to USI an extensive background in developing value added solutions for customers, new businesses development as well as sales force management and training.

In this new role, Jim will be responsible for providing direction and training to the sales team, developing strategic alliances and rolling out new service initiatives. In addition, he will focus on maximizing the effectiveness of both USI's sales force and Branch Managers in order to achieve annual sales and growth plans.
