1.7 pound foam.
Anyone have a 1.7 pound foam that they like for studwalls?Gaco Western had a dynamite one that they recently discontinued (claimed that raw materials were too costly). Thanks G |

we have been using Henry Products 1.8 with good results you can spray 3 inches in one pass and the yields have been up to 5000bdft. Airpro |

I have sprayed some 1.7lb foam in the past and had some shrinkage. It was not the Gaco foam, but 1.7lb is pretty light density to be stable when sprayed to the underside of the roof. I would guess that if it went away it was because of shrinkage issues. Or because 245fa went up in price and the lighter the density, the more 245 in it and the more expensive the foam is. What do you believe? |

We have sprayed NCFI's 1.75 pound foam (019) with good success. We really like the product, but substrate temps must be at LEAST 50 degrees and there is no ICC-ES testing for it, so you have to watch where it gets applied. |
