6" closed cell or Res. Check
Our local building inspector has changed his tune from the past and now is requiring 3.5" of closed cell on interior stud walls R-19 and 6.0" on underside wood roof deck R-38. I prefure to spray open cell on roof deck. He instructed me that it would be 10" of .5lb. Dose this sound extreme? If I have contractor do a res check and the numbers are on my side I can spray less. I really need some technical information to show the inspector the spf specs. Thanks Mark
