Bre M Posted: Jun 27, 2019 11:59 PM	Ceiling Cracking Due to Spray Foam? I have Spraytite 178 sprayed in the eaves of my home. For some reason, it appears that the foam is contracting and is pulling/sucking the ceiling drywall up into the attic space. As a result, there are 10+ cracks in the ceiling drywall all around the house. We tried to repair the cracks and they quickly cracked again. Has anyone had a situation like this? Wondering what is causing this and how to repair... Here is some more specific info on the installation: First, drywall was installed on the ceiling around the exterior perimeter of the house. Then, the spray foam was sprayed between the drywall and the roof deck all the way around the exterior perimeter of the house. The reminder of the ceiling drywall was installed after that.
