Changing fluids
What are the best methods for going from:1. Open to closed 2. Closed to open 3. Open to Polyurea 4. Polyurea to open. 5. Closed to poly and 6. Poly to closed I know there is some book info but I've heard several different theories based on the day of the week. What works for you guys? |

Spray 92 clicks back into the drum and 34-clicks into a garbage bag. Be cautious, the off ratio stuff in the bag can get hot sometimes (and combust). We've had it happen twice. Unfortunately, you will lose $60-90 each time that you switch from polyurea to foam & vice-versa. do that 30-times a year and you will have 3% of the cost of a new machine. We're building another new rig next year. It will be dedicated to poly. gcw |

Yea, I just made a dumb mistake. I purchased a new gutter machine for my roofing biz. It was a purchase to supplement a small segment of residential that we do. Should have purchased a poly machine that I saw on Ebay. Would have made a heck of a lot more money with it. Are you chasing everything or putting a bubble in the line? Hot water or solvents? Does that apply to just one type of change over or all of them? How many feet of hose? I currently have 260'. |

I am thinking of having a dedicated proportioner for foam. |
