Contact Lenses
Any suggestions for contact lens wearers? I use googles for roofing and usually go through 2 pairs of contact lens a week.Even when you think that they are okay, later in the afternoon, they fog up with that overspray. Any Suggestions? |

You will probaly have to wear a full face. I only have problems if i am tuching up without some sort of eye protection. Otherwise then that i wear my PAPR and have had no problems at all. |

I wore contact lenses for years and as you discovered found that not all goggles fit correctly and would occasionally get mists on the contacts. I found wearing a pair of wrap around sunglasses under the goggles helped. Also, try the disposable contacts (if you don't already). Much cheaper overall. If you still have problems, you may need to go to a respirator with full face shield protection. Use Saran Wrap on the shield to keep it from getting overspray on the plastic. PS, I got lasik surgery 2 years ago and love it. |
