cost vs conventional for residential home
Building a new home with a large roof/attic above the house. Nothing up there at all except 17' roof. Can anyone tell me what the cost for the 1.2 foam is versus the conventional fiberglass method. I am in the Northwest where it gets pretty cold in the winter. Roof Sq Ft will be around 3500 sq ft..
Thanks

Are you talking about spraying directly onto the drywall lid?

5.5" of 1.2 should do the job. Feel free to email me for more info. We're too far away to be of any use to you, but I can give you an idea of cost.

Thanks for the response. Not sure what a drywall lid is, but i think it would be the drywall on the ceiling and walls. If that is the case then yes that is where I would be spraying the foam. In the ceiling as well as the wall cavities which are 6"studs to the outside and 4" in the ceiling.
Any cost help would be appreciated.
Is anyone doing it in the Northwest that you know of? We are near Spokane, WA

You can try to contact Apex Foam, one of the suppliers of the 1.2 pcf foams, they have a list of there certified installers and can put you in contact with one.

The "lid" is indeed the ceiling. The walls don't need any more than 4- 4.5".

All the best,
