E20 is triggering an E28 before the pump is turned on
We have an old E20 that we are getting back into service. The reactor is triggering an E28 before the pump is turned on. Since the code is from pump related issues, how can it be triggered without the pump on? We've never had this happen with our other rigs and we're having a difficult time sourcing the problem. The reactor will trigger other random codes at random times, which disappear when its turned off and back on. Does anyone know what this might be from? |

Turn the master power off then disconnect socket J4 on the motor control board then turn the master power back on. If the E28 is still there you have a faulty motor control board - replace it. |

Fix the problem before your power up a new board. It sounds like you may need to rebuild the A side pump and install a new lubrication pump and bottle. Anything that drags the electric motor down and causes it to pull too many amps will trigger the E28 code. |
