E20
The B side on my e20 makes a loud rattling noise when it strokes. The fluid section was rebuilt recently, and I had a new connecting rod installed. The gears look fine, any Ideas?

How does the arm connecting the pump to the shaft on the motor. If I remember correctly, there is either a bushing or bearing that fits onto the motor shaft. If that bearing goes out, it will make a lot of noise. |

Is the pump screwed up into the housing to the right height? You should have the top of the threads of the pump just flush or 1 thread above the bearing housing. Is the large star nut tight? George |

The fluid section was quite a few threads below the housing, cranked it up, tightened the star nut and it quit rattling. Thanks. |
