Foam smell
A few questions:

1.What does the foam smell like after being sprayed?

2. Can the home owner stay in the house while it is being sprayed?

3. what about odor when then return ducting is in the attic and most likely no super tight.

4. Do different brands have a lower odor?

1 Nothing after it has set up and cured. It is plastic so not much different than smelling the boards you can buy at the building supply store.

2 No since the offgassing that creates the bubbles in the foam is not exactly gentle on the lungs.

3 See answer number 1.

4 Some are worse than others but overall they are all pretty much the same since if you can smell it while it is being sprayed then you are too close.

Make sure the area is well ventilated for 48 hours after the job is sprayed.

I have a fan with flexible duct I am could use.

I will shoot it out the front bedroom window and leave a back window in the house open to replace the air. That is if the smell is intolerable other wise I will leave the attic door down and let air exchange that way with a window in the house open.
