Getting into the business
Have any of you gotten into the business by selling and marketing in an area then subbing out the work? My background is in sales and I see an opportunity in foam and to work for myself. Where can I get the training on the industry and the info on estimating without buying the rig etc.?

I'm in Eastern Nebraska. I am looking to build a business for myself not for someone else. Any advise on which national contractors will install in this area under my company? |

There isn't going to be a lot of money for you to contract foam work. The market is tight as it is, trying to add 10% to any quotes so can pocket money is going to break a lot of deals. Best to start your own company and hire workers or go and work for someone else. Tim Granite State Spray Foam Co. |
